Our Mission
The mission of AI4SID Nigeria is to advance the development and adoption of AI solutions in the social impact and third sector economy for sustainable development through a collaborative hub-and-network model; we bring together innovators, communities, and stakeholders in the social enterprise /non governmental (NGO) ecosystem to develop ethical AI applications in areas such as healthcare, education, agriculture, and public services.

Artificial Intelligence is rapidly transforming our world and even though it often met with skepticism, at AI4SID, we choose to see its potential. We believe AI can and should be a force for good.
Rather than racing to catch up with the momentum AI is gaining globally, we are intentionally forward-thinking. We envision a future where AI is responsibly and strategically applied to solve some of Africa’s most pressing challenges in health, education, and development.
Our growing team, network, and advisory council bring together a diverse mix of NGO leaders, academics, AI experts, and industry professionals united by a common goal: leveraging AI to drive real, measurable social impact.
Through our AI4SID Hub, we incubate pilot projects, nurture local talent, and create scalable solutions. We work hand-in-hand with government, academia, the private sector, and civil society to ensure that the tools we deploy are contextually relevant, ethically sound, and globally informed.
